At first we thought it would just be cool to provide a place for anyone to post a "Boat for Sale" video somewhere without all the clutter of other unrelated video and advertising.  We also hoped that providing a place for brokers and dealers to post videos that link to the rest of their advertising in other places would be a useful service. It would bring their potential customers to a place where only their inventory was in view, instead of the whole universe.

Well, one thing led to another and the next thing I knew we were developing our own classified system online to support the descriptions of boats in the videos, so then we expanded that idea. A little software company in Croatia helped us out on that one, and what a fine bunch of guys they are (components.init.si). Now we're spinning off a new company, SayitRight Media, and working with a new partner in London  who is developing an media player based on all the latest Adobe flash technology released this week, just in time for Christmas. I'm looking forward to posting more news of that soon.

I have had the pleasure of giving my input to the Chinese developer who created the incredible video software we're running, and seeing my wishes come to life. We just uploaded the new version of the Video Gallery and can't say enough about it.... actually, I got so excited about it at a recent team meeting that I was referred to as a nerd. Oh well... if the shoe fits.

When I was kid I always wanted to travel. Now, with the advent of the web, the world is coming to me. Cool, huh?
